This type of fuel is classified as energy coal and is used for power generation or municipal and domestic purposes.

It is currently the most popular fuel. This is due to the fact that, unlike anthracite, long-flame coal has a less dense structure. This property makes it easier to ignite in boilers and furnaces of various types and designs. Furthermore, there is no need for a blower: the fuel ignites easily due to simple natural draft.
